WordShell 1.3.135 has been released; this release resolves an issue when trying to add new sites that had CloudFlare rocket enabled, cause by Rocket adjusting WP’s HTML and causing it to fail WordShell’s detection tests.

WordShell 1.3.133

WordShell 1.3.133 is now released. This features two changes; one minor feature, and a bug-fix:

  • Add –random switch, causing sites to be processed in random order (as an alternative to alphabetical, or –reverse for reverse alphabetical)
  • Fix a bug in the handling of –no options (e.g. –nolftp) which was making them ineffective

WordShell 1.3.132 released

WordShell 1.3.132 has been released, fixing a minor issue triggered by a change at wordpress.org, that could cause curl to download zero-size zip files. (By default lftp is preferred to curl, so most users won’t have been able to experience this).

  • The –nochecksums can be used to prevent the calculation of MD5 checksums when syncing files over an HTTP connection (which could be subject to PHP execution timeouts).

WordShell 1.3.128

WordShell 1.3.128 has been released, with these changes:

  • Remove historical /extend/ from wordpress.org URLs pertaining to plugins/themes
  • Default to using https rather than http when accessing wordpress.org URLs
  • Add –nosslverify option to not require checking of SSL certificates when using https
  • Add –ignoremodifications option to skip checking of modifications before updating

  • Add new –noconfirmpristine switch, to skip the interactive prompt when no original version of a plugin can be found for comparison with the installed version (when upgrading)

WordShell 1.3.124

WordShell 1.3.124 has been released; this introduces two changes from yesterday’s 1.3.123:

  • Fix a bug in –searchandreplace that would use an incorrect replacement term if not using –tables that would add (bug introduced in yesterday’s 1.3.123)
  • –nolint option, which will skip PHP linting when installing/updating new code
